WHO AM
I??
HI!!!! My name is Sue Wagenschwanz. I was born Suzanne Marie
Charest,
the daughter of Professor Gerard Charest and Marie Belec Charest.
My
father was a French Professor at the University Of Detroit, and
my mother (bless her heart) was a stay-at-home mother caring for
my 2 sister,
2 brothers and me!!! We were a "handful" need to say.
We are very excited and we know we will enjoy
this area of NC forever.
HOW DID I GET STARTED CROCHETING???
Actually my step daughter Lisa crocheted a gorgeous afghan
for us as a Christmas gift the first year we moved in. I wanted
to try it.
So my mother-in-law, Elfrieda,
showed me how to do a single,
double, treble crochet and from there I was on my own.
I started out by making items for the family. Afghans, slippers,
pot holders etc. until I really was good and enjoying every minute
of it. I brought items into work and people were buying them
and ordering more and more.
That's when I decided I needed another challenge. A web site??
And believe me this is a challenge. But here it is. I hope you will
enjoy browsing and please come back to visit. I make changes
all the time.
