WHO AM I?? 

HI!!!!  My name is Sue Wagenschwanz. I was born Suzanne Marie Charest,
the daughter of Professor Gerard Charest and Marie Belec Charest. My
father was a French Professor at the University Of Detroit, and
my mother (bless her heart) was a stay-at-home mother caring for my 2 sister,
2 brothers and me!!! We were a "handful" need to say.
 


This is me crocheting my sampler. It is absolutely
beautiful and is in my current inventory.

              My husband Kurt and I moved to Georgia in June of 1993. With all of
our six children out of the house, we decided to leave our high
pressured jobs and start all over.

We were working in the Cumming, GA area but decided
we loved the mountains the best. So we decided to relocate
to the Mountains of North Carolina.

We had a home built for us in the mountains
of North Carolina overlooking Lake Chatuge.

 We are very excited and we know we will enjoy
this area of NC forever.

HOW DID I GET STARTED CROCHETING???

Actually my step daughter Lisa crocheted a gorgeous afghan
for us as a Christmas gift the first year we moved in. I wanted
to try it.

So my mother-in-law, Elfrieda, showed me how to do a single,
double, treble crochet and from there I was on my own.

I started out by making items for the family. Afghans, slippers,
pot holders etc. until I really was good and enjoying every minute
of it. I brought items into work and people were buying them
and ordering more and more.

That's when I decided I needed another challenge.  A web site??
And believe me this is a challenge. But here it is. I hope you will
enjoy browsing and please come back to visit.  I make changes
all the time.
